Now the proud owner of a 1.4 litre diesel Volkswagen Lupo.

Managed to persuade some of the old ex-skaters to explore the country with me in search of spots.

Oh yes.

Fucking hell
29th March 2007
by James Gabb

Well, looks like I'm the only one out of everyone down here that still skates =[

One's been consumed by a woman, the other has delved deep into the realms of World of Warcraft, another has been stolen by McDonalds, and two have given up entirely. Shite stuff.

Needless to say, all their bored reside in their sheds, unused and gathering dust and moisture.

Apart from one. A rather nice Element deck, with Bones Super Swiss bearings and Autobahn wheels, and destructo trucks. Has been sitting in my house, unclaimed by the warcraft player, for about half a year.

It now contains no bearings and wheels.

Well...he has no need for them anymore.

Graphics cards..help?
31st January 2007
by James Gabb

Does anyone here know where I can get a decent nVidia graphics chip for under £50?! I been using a geForce 6200 with turbocaché and on some of the newer games its been doing my head in but I have basically no budget. Anyone know anywhere online apart from ebay where I might get one?! Can't find one anywhere.

Helston game of skate

Video, this was a last minute decision by lots of bored people at the skatepark so we all gave 10p to enter a random game of skate. Was fun =] no really good tricks, was all just a laugh really. Was a bitch of a video to edit though.

Sorry about all the new videos at once but I have just got hold of all the tapes people filmed over xmas.

London, Milton Keynes, Stoke and......Helston
9th January 2007
by James Gabb

New vid, basically just a small collection of whatever we could be bothered to do in the few moments the camera was out.

http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=4972602066629115985&;hl=en-GB

The footage at Milton Keynes is REALLY hard to see, because it was so dark. Basically, in order, the three tricks on the MK ledge were a 50-50 nollie b/s bigspin, 50-50 f/s shuv and a 50-50 f/s bigspin.

Any comments?

Stoke - Not stoked
8th January 2007
by James Gabb

Went on a sorta tour of England the last few days...and of course I visited Stoke. Now the nice friendly weatherman told me it would be dry with patches of sun all day, so I took the oppurtunity with some mates to spend £45 and 3 hours on the train to get there. Off the train....straight into absolutly slamming rain. Looked at the underwater plaza, and everyone was just so gutted. So another 3 hour trip back. Spent £45 and 6 hours of travelling just for a KFC mini fillet burger in a city where everyone speaks funny. Sucks. Ended up in Milton Keynes for half an hour, by which time it was 11:00 and no-one was up for skating.

Oh well, maybe next time.

Seriously gutted.

Not skating related but need help
17th September 2006
by James Gabb

This isn't related to skating but as everything games related is blocked grr I'm just seeing if anyone here knows.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, before I spend £20 on it, I need to know if it will run on my system. My system is a 3.6Ghz processor with a 256 mb GeForce 6200 Turbocaché graphics card and 512mb RAM, running Windows XP Pro. I know nothing about games so I'm just asking if anyone knows, would Oblivion run on those specs?!

Cheers,

James
