SIMPLEWOOD FEATURE : FILMS
Team America: World Police This is what you get when you throw Trey Parker, Matt Stone, the Thunderbirds and the war on terrorism into a blender. I haven't laughed so hard at something in a long while and this has so many scenes of genious. Probably not for everyone, if you don't dig South Park humor then I don't think you'll enjoy this. The "America... Fuck Yeah!" scene reduced me to tears and the North Korean dictator is so loveable. Watch this.
The Incredibles Pixar have never and will never get it wrong. They have found a happy medium that will entertain pretty much all age groups. If you don't like this film, what the hell's wrong with you? Raw genious.
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind I didn't think I'd like this film as the plot didn't seem all that interesting to me and I was also sceptical about Jim Careys ability to lead a serious role. Touché. Although the film has a really slow beginning once the film moves into Careys mind it gets really interesting.
Shrek 2 You can never deny 3d animation... especially when Eddie Murphy is involved. I liked this one just as much as the first and that was a fucking lot. Puss in Boots people, I mean.. c'maaaan.
Shaun of the Dead Not an amazing film but there are some truly priceless moments, especially from the fat guy Ed. "Can I get, any of you cunts... a drink?", "Sup niggas?" et all. That character is a legend. The only thing I didn't like about it was that it seemed to move from a serious drama to comedy to horror, and never really stuck to one formula. Still worth a watch.
Elephant Directed by Gus Vant Sant (the guy behind Good Will Hunting), the film portrays the events of a columbine-like school masacre. The film follows a collection of students around the campus on what seems to be just another day. The film requires your patience and it doesn't provide you with any answers, it merely shows you what could be. Disturbing stuff. There are loads of other amazing films that I didn't see until last year, including; Blow, Natural Born Killers, The Virgin Suicides, Narc, Kids, Momento and The Breakfast Club.
Worst film of 2004? Bridget Jones's Diary 2.

Eternal Sunshone of the Spotless Mind really pissed me off at first because I watched it on the plane and it had a really slow start, also my nads were sweating, I needed a piss and I was hungry.
I saw a review of Elephant back in Easter and wanted to download it but couldnae find the cunt, hopefully when I get my hard drive I'll download I straight away, but knowing me I'll forget.

You'd best not be serious Joe, Garfield is fucking HEMP. Nice list, although technically Team America isn't released in the UK until later this month.
