CHAVS RELOADED
SIMPLEWOOD FEATURE : LIFE/CULTURE
Yes, we all know them - the townies/kevs/rude boys. We all know that 50% of them can be out of order at times and try and start fights out of boredom. Now, I'm going to empathise here and give you an example of what it'd be like to see it from a chavs point of view:

I'm standing outside of McDonalds bored outta my skull with my friends when two or three whiny little nasal-voiced punks are jumping around and failing pathetic tricks like shuv-its constantly and screaming around. They're dressed very similarly in flame gear, skulls, baggy stuff, grunger things.

Now, I want to punch these kids myself... and I SKATE. So I'll leave the rest of the "Chav Equation" up to you. Pikey + Chav = Beat Pikey. Pikey + Sane Person = Beat Pikey. There's stereotypes about Chavs because a few give them a bad name... I know chavs that are perfectly nice people and just like dressing in that sort of clothing, they don't do it to start fights. Being a chav might get you accepted with other chavs, but some pikeys think that picking up a skateboard makes them this cool kinda acceptable person who can "Express their feelings through skate style". Peer pressure has nothing to do with it, just personal preference.

If you're immature enough to think that Chavs are out to fight you, then you expect to be fought, and as an expectancy; it'll probably result in a likeliness. So ignore the bad percent who try and start on you and stop stereotyping. If you bitch about prejudice against skateboarders, then don't prejudice against chavs.

Yo Sandy, can I get a "Touché"?

Hey hill you got a point but at my school the ramsgate school no one has a bitch about skateboarders really its just blader's they seem to get annoyed about most and when theydo start on you usual they know you and not like you and my is like the biggest chav fest in history and i never get that sort of a problem with them.
BUT STILL YOU GOT A MAJOR POINT AND THAT ABOUT SUMS IT ALL UP.

Yeh, I guess there is two sides of the coin, these 'little pikey wannabe skaters' are giving us a bad name, and due to the violent nature of some chavs, I guess we get a raw deal. Again, if everyone stopped being judgemental then the world would be proper-bo I tell thee.
