THE REAL TEST
SIMPLEWOOD FEATURE : SKATEBOARDING
Its the time of the year where lots of skaters disapear off of the face of the earth and the question now has to be asked:

Will you still be skating this time next year?

After a summer full of rain and ankle-rolls(two bad ones) i think winter will only make me hungrier to skate. I love the cold and finding somewhere dry, well lit and smooth makes skating so much more rewarding.

Also this means more ramp skating for me - and less excuses to not learn transition for you.

Obviosly there are downsides to winter, the floor is slightly more painfull to fall on, boards die quicker and it rains alot more than in summer .

Above all else winter serves its main purpose by weeding out all the wannabees and showing who the real diehard skateboarders are!

Props to the peeps who quit and came back.

One love

Kieran

I still skate bare.. I know what you mean, it seems that skating has somewhat lulled in popularity with most people that used to skate...

I say, bring on te good old days of oval days, freezing and being hardcore
